I'm Maggie, I'm 18 years of age, and I work in the bakery at my local Walmart. I am an open minded person, but I have certain thoughts. I'm optimistic, caring, and usually always in a good mood. I recently graduated high school, so I will be going to college in the fall. I would be one of those people who don't have fun with alcohol, so if you post a lot about parties [alcohol involved] and such topics as that, don't add me if it's your life. I have a boyfriend of a year + 3 months [today] that I'm crazy about, so I post about that and sometimes about sex. I am over the drama phase. I've had people tell me that my journal makes them think and feel something, I just write what is going on my mind.
I would like some new friends on lj to talk to and read their entries. If you are interested, please comment my friend's only entry located at my journal =]

I cut my hair really really short. I'm trying to cut off the dyed hair, so my natural colour will grow in.

Name: Jesse
Age: Eighteen
Location: Southern Illinois
About me: My friends call me a “nerdfest in an iron happy bubble,” and it’s a fairly accurate description. I’m a voracious reader, aspiring photographer, struggling writer, epic cosplayer, eternal optimist, happy drunk, and part-time gamer.
About the journal: My journal is a mixture of my personal life, my doings on the internet, some fandom related things, and daily Twitters. Anything generally explicit or personal is kept under f-lock with appropriate warnings. I tend to post several times a day every few days. I read my friend’s list frequently and comment a lot.
I write: A lot of fan fiction currently, and mostly for Final Fantasy VIII and Loveless. I tend to branch out into other fandoms randomly, especially when I find something new. I do write original short stories and drabbles from time to time.
I don’t write: Poetry. I was never any good at it.
I like to read: Anything I can get my hands on! I’m not much a fan of historical nonfiction, but other than that, I’ll read anything. I’m really not too picky at all.
Favorite authors: Chuck Palahniuk, Mitch Albom, Poppy Z. Brite

Hellloo everybody. I'm new...stalking for a day or so...loving it. I've had short hair for about 9 months now...getting it cut again today. Not sure how to go. Any suggestions? I'd like to add some colour to it at some point, but it's been so long and I'm not sure what would look good...so any ideas about that would be really appreciated!
Thanks lovelies

my name's katie but for a list of convoluted reasons most people call me fluffy.
i'm a graduate student fighting my way through a master's in sociology. i study sex-sexuality/gender/family and tend to talk about those subjects a lot which means i' m always walking that fine line between being okay and completely broke i'm an activist currently on 'sabbatical' but not really political i read almost every journal on my list but i go through fits and spurts with comments and don't care if you comment back that much i'm open minded i'm a knitter and a handspinner i'm pagan i'm engaged (dances) i love christmas and halloween i love dogs sometimes my entries run to the personal and sometimes they're just a load of fluff
i'm bad at these list-y things but check out my user info for more...info? http://starfish.livejournal.com/profile
18+ would be nice, an open mind is kinda necessary but i like talking to people with other opinions and positions than mine!

Hey, everyone. My name is Countess D. It's not an ego thing. It's just "D" sounds boring. Also, I like Pet Shop of Horrors. <3 I enjoy watching anime, MTV, VH1, and stupid shows like Family Guy. I read frequently, but I don't keep a huge list of what I read. I just like realistic fiction and manga (of most sorts). I am kind of dramatic. I'm just an emotional person, overall. If you'd like to talk to me, I'd be more than happy to talk back. <3 Music is my world. I'm as dedicated to it as I can be without playing an instrument. Some of my favorite bands are The GazettE, An Cafe, Soulidium, and MILLIONAIRES. One of my favorite songs is "Better Than Suicide" by Psyclon Nine (I say that because I really don't listen to their other songs...) Add me. ;)
Also, please post on my Friends Only page. I don't always check on these things after I make them :\

I guess I'm kind of a movie junkie. And two other movies that make me smile are An Unfinished Life and Charlie Bartlett I love them both. Along with several others <3

My friends list used to be happening. Or at least somewhat interesting. But now no one posts and I refuse to believe it's because we've all become too old for Livejournal.
(Relax, I'm only 24.)
So I'm looking for some new meat. It helps if you're somewhat interesting and 21+. Bonus points if you're not a republican, religious, or a bigot.
Anything you need to know is below.

Hey comm! (:
This is my first post and I need a hair cut (duh).
I use to have really long hair, almost down to my butt, and than I cut it all off into a sleek a-line. I started to bleach and dye the front a lot so it's really fried and looking unhealthy. So I figured I'd go really short to get rid of all the dead hair. The only problem is I don't know what style to cut it in!
( updated with better pictures. )

Ok here we go!! Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour opens with Candy Shop (very similar to the promo tour version) followed by a version of Beat Goes On very similar to the album version. Both Pharrell Williams and Kanye West will appear on video during the song. The third song in the setlist is the first GREAT surprise. It's the one and only Human Nature, from Bedtime Stories (and we'll not be sorry!!). The song will be presented in an original and UNIQUE way, but that's a surprise we don't want to spoil for the moment. We're sure the inclusion of this song will make lots of people very happy. Section two of the show includes Into The Groove, a great number where she will be jumping rope with a little sample of the song "Jump" thrown in as well, followed by Heartbeat. The Fedde Le Grande version of Music, (just like the promo tour version) and She's Not Me follow. The following section will opens with the song Devil Would Recognize You, Madonna will sing it live and play the piano onstage HERSELF for the very first time! After that we go into Miles Away, just like the promo tour, and a joyful version Spanish Lesson. Her great classic from True Blue arrives next: It's La Isla Bonita that will be presented in its "Live Earth incarnation", the Lela Pala Tute version!!! This third section is closed by one of the songs by Madonna that won an Oscar. It's the touching "You Must Love Me", the beautiful ballad from Evita, written by Tim Rice and Andrew Loydd Webber especially for Madonna in the film. This version is more or less very similar to its original form. The closing section of the tour includes the promo tour version of 4 Minutes followed by one of the greatest surprises fans will adore: Impressive Instant from the "Music" album!! Ray of Light follows. It's basically the album version with some changes in the middle. The promo tour version of Hung Up is next. The tour closes with the latest single from Hard Candy, Give It 2 Me But that's not all folks! Madonna is also doing a great classic for her first album and she's doing it for the first time since the Virgin Tour. It's "Borderline" that will be presented like it has never been heard before and don't forget to look out for the great tour videos that will be directed by Steven Klein, as previously reported by MadonnaTribe!! That's it for now and stay tuned for more exclusive tour news from MadonnaTribe News
